Arteta Not a People's Person?

This is a very good summary of the baffling decisions Arteta has made in Arsenal.
1. Paying Wilian a world class salary when he's already 32. He literally bombed every game.
2. Insisting on playing his off-form senior players like Mustafi, Xhaka, Abaumayang, David Luis.
3. Ignoring or writing off William Saliba when he has proven to be a great talent in Ligue 1, which is a notch lower than Premier League admittedly but Marseille, PSG aren't far from Champions League material.
4. Selling Emilio Martinez and replacing him with an inferior Icelandic keeper.
5. Loaning out Guedonzi to Hertha Berlin, who then performed remarkably is another sign of poor decision making.
I've read that Arteta was confronted by a senior player for playing favouritsm in the dressing room, right in front of all the other players. This doesn't bode well for his man-management style.
Tactically, Arteta is miles ahead of Wenger for sure. His training methods, guidance is notches above Unai Emery. But the signs are there. Rapid improvement, winning two trophies then dying this season. When a team improves so fast and collapses equally fast, it is usually a sign of dressing room problems. Arteta's stiff, inflexible method, "either you are with me or against me," "it's my way or the highway" ethos is losing support among his players. I can see that the players were not playing for him on the pitch.
Arteta needs to change his ways fast. There could be issues behind the scenes, such as Edu, or the CEO, Vinai not backing him, pulling strings contradicting Arteta. That I won't know. But it is likely to be mainly a coaching problem.
Arsenal has thrown money to support Wenger in his final four seasons to be frank, starting with Mesut Ozil. But the recruitment department had been dismal since 2014. Frankly, a lot of bad decisions were made. Nicolas Pepe for GBP72m and little to return for in his second season. Either Arteta is a very poor coach, or they both fell out or we have been duped into thinking Pepe is a good player.
I suspect Arteta is actually 3 more bad games away from a sack. If we don't beat West Brom, and fall into another 3 to 4 consecutive losses, hover near the relegation zone, Arteta will be sacked because we definitely cannot afford to be relegated after spending so much money. I will hope for the ex Juventus coach, Allegri. But I can only wish.
